GODSREACH

Godsreach: Dragons & Gods

FOUR ERAS  ·  SIX GODS  ·  ONE THRONE

A whole kingdom in your hands

Everything a strategy player expects from the genre, and nothing that gets between you and the game.

4

Eras to rise through

From the Hearth Era's first fields to the Mythic Era's siege engines and dragons. Each era opens new buildings, units and research.

6

Gods to choose from

At every era-up, pick one of two gods. Each grants a lasting blessing and a power you call down on the battlefield.

200

Soldiers in your army

Spearmen, swordsmen, archers, champions, lancers, battle mages, priests, catapults and more, with real counters that reward a mixed army.

4

Players on your Wi-Fi

LAN battles for up to four people, five sides in all. Join with a short code. No account, no server, no internet.

3

Ways to win

Supremacy, Deathmatch with full coffers and no truce, or Conquest, where every last building has to fall.

4

Levels of opponent

From a gentle Easy to a relentless God difficulty that ignores the truce and comes in waves.

1

Minute: the most a dead battery can cost you

With Autosave on, as the game comes, a single-player match saves itself every minute of play and whenever you put the app away. Take a call, let the battery run flat, restart the phone: press Continue on the title screen and carry on where you left off.

Dragons, gods and fire from the sky

A blue dragon with wings spread flies over a keep

Raise your own dragons

Build a Dragon Roost in the Mythic Era and train as many dragons as you can feed. Each colour flies its own breed.

  • Fly over walls and cliffs; only ranged attackers and other flyers can strike back.
  • Breathe fire that bursts over a whole crowd.
  • Roast a herd or burn a forest, and your villagers gather it twice as fast.
Kargath's Blood Oath: jagged black rocks burst from the ground in a ball of fire

Call on the gods

Every god you follow adds a power to your hand: Sunfire, Mending Rain, Blood Oath, Moonlit Tide, Harvest of Ages and Night's Eye. Aim the circle, confirm, and watch the battlefield change.

Solen's Sunfire: a pillar of light and bursts of flame around a keep

Read the battle, win the war

Spearmen beat riders, riders run down archers, archers shred spearmen. Priests mend, bless and smite. Walls and watch towers hold the choke points. A computer opponent that gathers, scouts, masses its army and attacks in waves, just like you.

Questions

When does Godsreach come out?

Soon, on iPhone and iPad, Android and Windows PC. This page will link to each store the day it launches.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Single-player plays fully offline, and multiplayer only needs the players' devices on the same Wi-Fi or local network.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

No ads, no gems, no energy timers and nothing to wait for. You pay once and the whole game is yours.

How does multiplayer work?

One player hosts and reads out a short join code; up to three others type it in. Up to four people share a match of up to five sides, and the computer plays any empty seat.

Can I stop in the middle of a match?

Yes. Single-player matches save themselves every minute and whenever the app is put away, and you can save from the pause menu at any time. Continue on the title screen picks the match up, even after the phone has restarted. There is one saved match at a time, and LAN matches are not saved.

Can I play with a mouse and keyboard?

Yes. On PC, Godsreach has full mouse control and hotkeys. On phones and tablets every action works by touch.

Is it hard to learn?

Start on Easy: its first attacks are small and late, and the truce gives you the whole Hearth Era to build. The quick start covers your first five minutes.
